Discover the new ambassadors!
We presented to you last week Andrea Von Büren, the fourth one of new peoples who recently joined the küschall ambassadors group. They come from different countries of Europe, they have strong personalities and careers, but they all have the same will of surpassing themselves by pushing the limits further. Have a close look at the content of the texts to find the clues to bring you on the track and discover more about the coming küschall innovation.
Discover this week:
FRANSISCO MIRA
Fransisco Mira alias ‘Paco’, is very famous here at küschall. As a quality specialist working with küschall for 25 years, he has been central to helping develop many of the evolutions and innovations to our active performance wheelchairs. A Spaniard by birth, Paco is a dedicated person who works with great enthusiasm and brings precision to everything he does.
Paco is a perfectionist, no wonder why he worked on the coming technical innovation to control that it will keep its high quality for years. He ensures it to you, the carbon seat plate of the new wheelchair will provide to you the perfect balance between rigidity and stability.
ANDREA VON BÜREN
Talent doesn’t come with old age, is what we believe at küschall. At just 21 years old, Andrea Von Büren perfectly proves our point: Andrea is successfully balancing a double career of student and athlete, winning five gold medals and one silver medal during the World Junior Sport Games in Dubai. If you come across her in everyday life, you might think her a little shy and retiring; though to see her in competition you would think the opposite. With these budding talents breaking new ground, it’s fair to say that Rainer and Heinz have a great sense of optimism about the new generation of competitors.
When Andrea tried the küschall innovation, she directly adopted it! The outstanding driving performance of this active and rigid wheelchair gives all comfort that she was expected.
DERGIN TOKMAK
It might not actually be necessary to introduce Dergin Tokmak, due to his celebrity as a participant in “Supertalent 2011”, the German version of “Britain’s got talent”. After seven years as a performer with the ‘Cirque du Soleil’, Dergin is one of the most famous paraplegic artists performing in Europe. Every day presents a new opportunity for him to show how he can push his own limits, and thousands of fans follow his dance performances on crutches, both on TV and online.
Dergin is someone who doesn’t pass through four paths to achieve something. He was surprised to see that the coming innovation of küschall shares this mindset as seven parts of it have stepless adjustability.
DIANE ARELE
Henri Matisse once said: “Creative people are curious, flexible, persistent and independent, with a tremendous spirit of adventure and a love of play”. Diane Arele really lives up to this description and her paintings are imbued with these attributes. You may come across her as you stroll the boulevards of Paris, as she is likely to be on the streets of the French Capital, looking for inspiration and immersing herself in the artistic atmosphere of the City of Light.
Diane is an active artist living in Paris (France) and who often goes to exhibitions and art galleries. She told us during the last photo shooting that it is very important for her, especially when you have this lifestyle, to have a polyvalent well designed and rigid wheelchair. She wanted to leave with our coming innovation at the end of that day.
HEINZ FREI
You might know the expression: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. This epithet could have been written for Heinz Frei, who, despite a life-threatening accident in 1978 during a mountain race, became one of the world’s most successful disabled athlete in racing and hand cycling (Heinz holds 22 titles in the Paralympics, 12 titles in world championship and a handful of world records). His secret: “believing in yourself is the best way to accomplish miracles”.
Born in Switzerland in 1958, Heinz drives a küschall K-Series. It didn’t take long to convince Heinz about the coming innovation and get him totally enthusiastic only after the first try of this new wheelchair!
